Dr. N.J. Omaboe’s preparedness in caring for cats’ needs, from basic to complex, is supported by his extensive training.
After graduating from The University of Bern, Switzerland, with his veterinary degree and a Doctorate in Cardiomyopathy, Dr. Omaboe stayed on to complete his residency in Diagnostic Pathology. He then studied as a post-graduate, serving as an Assistant in Clinical Neurology at the University of Bern.
Dr.Omaboe has studied under ACVS (American College of Veterinary Surgeons) board-certified Dr. Martin De Angelis, one of the world’s greatest knee surgeons. Thanks to these studies, Dr. Omaboe is able to offer the best in hip dysplasia and knee repair surgeries.
Dr. Omaboe’s other post-graduate training includes:
- Training at the Animal Medical Center of New York
- Cardiac and Abdominal Echography training at Remote Vet in Atlanta, GA
- Abdominal Echography training in Switzerland
- Education in Animal Behavior from The Society of Swiss Veterinarians
- Dual Diplomas in Chinese Medicine (Moxibustion and Acupuncture) from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Institute of Peking

We accept all major credit cards, and offer a 5% discount for cash payments. Payment is due at the time of service. We also accept pet insurance claims, and advocate the purchase of pet insurance to aid you in providing the best health care for your cat.

Dr. Omaboe understands the importance of good communication when it comes to the best care for your cat. For that reason, he is fluent in French, German, and English.
